GQA or CITB?

SiteTicket provides the GQA health and safety test. This booking is for GQA’s test, not CITB’s HS&E test. If you already have a CITB or GQA pass, we check whether its type and date meet the requirements for your chosen card before asking you to book another test.

Which test for which card

Card requests normally need the relevant health and safety test pass from within the previous two years. The test used for an initial two-year Green CSCS Q-Card can be reused within the scheme’s three-year allowance for its first renewal. GQA confirms whether a pass is accepted for your card.

We book the right version of the test for your card.

A Red Trainee card requires evidence of an eligible training or qualification route and the required health and safety test pass. We confirm the correct card type before applying.

What arrives

We submit your card request after GQA confirms your qualification and we have your accepted test pass, completed checks, payment and required details. GQA processes the request and CSCS posts the card.

We can remind you before your card expires, just ask.

Why sites ask for it

Many contractors ask for the card appropriate to the worker’s occupation. A card is one source of evidence; employers and site managers still check suitability for the work and provide the required induction.

GQA health and safety test

Revise in your language; the official test is in English. Check the test device and booking requirements before you pay. If you do not pass the GQA health and safety test, you can book a resit with us. There is no charge for a resit. The card request follows the required qualification award, accepted test pass, checks and payment.
